banning each other^^

some of you still play AA and some have access to my server or are playeradmins...

with that said i wanna remember you to act mature when its about banning.(just to make it clear:i said the same to mike^^)

mouse told me that unsaymong was banned on the server sunday. i met mong sunday around 6 pm alone on elita-server when i joined to look if the server runs(it was shown offline in gametracker) at 7 pm he got unbanned from mouse.

he said hi,me too.i said ill be back later..ok,cya,bye..thats all. mike arrived sunday evening at 10 pm coming from hamburg..

so,mike didnt banned him-me neither...(btw,since i own the server i banned only 1 person - vulcan )

that means in my eyes either he banned hisself not knowing how to use the console or 1 of you banned him for fun.

sure,no proof for that - BUT next time ill find out who it was.it can be only mike or one of you 96ers...

next time you got banned or kicked ask mouse or me to look into the logs.this time i couldnt find out because the logs are overwritten....

p.s. i told mike to be a little more diplomatic when a 96er joins with high ping - hes sometimes a bit rude^^

That's very strange. I think no one of us banned Unsay, so maybe has been autokicked from pb. His name was on the list of blocked players?

i dont ban you guys,i wouldnt even kick if you had highping...and like i said -mike wasnt in town.

mouse meant he was probably banned saturday but i was with him on sunday together on the server.

i met him at 6 and mouse unbanned him at 7 pm,must happened in this hour.

really strange,but even more its annoying...

I can assure you that we don't do this kind of shit for fun, at least not to my knowledge. It doesn't make sense to ban a clanmate. What soldiername was he banned under? If he was playing under a new name, not his usual one, and didn't wear a clantag, then anyone could have mistakenly banned him for the usual reasons. Black screens, ping, whatever.

The other possible culprit is the ACI scripts. Could be he had a forbidden tweak in his ini and was autobanned.

What's the full list of admins right now, btw?

m8,really,i dont blame anyone - i just made a list of the facts;)

server was empty except me an mong and he was on it with his normal name.

i will ask at aci if maybe their scripts have a autoban "feature" .

i think youre a playeradmin too,feda,so go on server and type :adminlistplayeradmins - then you can see the list

Tested the ACI scripts by setting fogvolumes to false. It kicks, but only for 2 minutes, and when you rejoin within that time it kicks again. Dunno if it adds the name to the banlist too.

I unbanned UNSAY before the war (he told me in TS3 he cant enter the EL!TA server) and the reason of his ban was given by "black", meaning black pbss.
Maybe he tried all features for himself. Btw. it is a minor issue, so do not overestimate this.

next 10 min blablabla..i wasnt it...me too..blabla.my anger starts growing...tabbing out...searching for proofs...tabbing in..trying to play relaxed again...evening ruined....

that wasnt the first time this happens.

so mouse...since the problem is about your guys getting banned and not mine,secondly mike has nothing to do with it and thirdly me neither- then we have a problem!!

I'm not saying this in an accusatory manner either. I'm not angry at whoever did it. Black screenshots understandably tend to make people suspicious, especially if they're good. But mates shouldn't be banned because of that. I've had black ss, Flat has, Mike has. We'll just have to trust each other. I've seen Unsay's screens when they weren't black and he's clean, so no need for anyone to ban him in future.

1st of red doesnt even has the new patch..hes playing fifa like a junkie^^

2nd..last try to make it clear or it stops to make any sense for me ....: i dont ban any of you 96 nor i get the idea to do it!! Got It?! black screens..high ping...killing me like im a little girl- i will do nothing. otherwise it will make no sense to have your tag on my server...its so easy.

i play with mike for 3 years now and i trust him absolutly.sure,he kicks some of you for high ping but not more and i believe him.he wasnt even there that day....

whatever happens..who banned who-i dont care anymore,i made my point.

to old and too much strees in RL for that kind of crap.

i cleaned the adminlist a bit. the guys remaining on the list are trustable imo and we will see if that childish crap stops^^

I would like to say something about your "solution", but i won't say anything, i want to end that

situation too and the server is your so u can do what u want.

Dear Flat,

i tried to solve the situation, too. This game has a lot of new bugs or someone has prolly misused the new binding script- who knows what happened.
And I do not blame anyone for this, because he already has been unbanned. And the point to tell you (flat) about his ban was, that you agree that I unban him - in case of Vulcan it would not be okay earlier, for reasons that I understood after talking to you.
And I was already saying to you in AA3 chat, that this is not of this importance, because I wanted to avoid such suspense and emotion triggered words. Sorry for you disappointment, but (we) still like you and want to help to monitor your server.

My approach to solve this issue, was by writing a PM to Unsay.

can you remember, who was on the server, when you got banned?
There is some hot word battle around it. So, can it be, that you accidently banned yourself?

Off topic, but what me really pisses off is, that this forum got some advertisement since November due to the fact, that the forum hoster decided to change the rules. So I take care of administrative issues and try to solve these kind of problems, beside my poorly paid work.

heard ure talkin about me:)) well. shit happens and its already done.and undone hehe. im not mad or anything.. just thought it was strange that i got banned. No need to make it that big of a deal, coz i can play on the server again hehe. no hard feelings guys:) and for the reccord, i did not ban myself, im not new to the admin role in AA.
